TRINH NU CAVE

The Trinh Nu Cave is situated on the island range of Bo Hon Island in the system comprising the Sung Sot Cave, Dong Tien Lake and Luon Cave. It is 15km from the south of Bai Chay Beach, the center beach of Ha Long City. For young couple, it is considered as the symbol of truly love, a romantic places for taking oath of love. Entering Trinh Nu Cave, tourists will find in the middle of the grotto a stone statue of a lying girl with her long hair hanging down, looking the sea in vain hope.

 

 

THIEN CUNG CAVE

Thien Cung Cave also knows as heavenly palace cave is the most beautiful primitive cave in Ha Long Bay and the longest dry cave in Asia. The cave is located in the Southwest of Halong Bay, about 4km away from Dau Go Island. With complex interior structure, multi floors with high ceiling, Thien Cung Cave has become a worldwide tourist attraction for such a magnificent system of stalactites and stalagmites

 

 

SUNG SOT CAVE

Located on Bo Hon Island, the Sung Sot Cave is one of the most notorious caves in Halong Bay. The French found it on an expedition in 1901 and were taken aback by its sheer beauty. To visit this grotto, one should walk under a large parasol of vegetation,    on tottery stone stairs. The grotto has two compartments : the outside one of 30m high looks like a perfectly square waiting hall. The smooth vertical partitions are similar to large man-made walls. The skilful hands of Nature have covered the compartment with a modest violet blue paint with here and there some rosy veins.

 

 

 

DAU GO CAVE

Standing out among other charming caves in Halong Bay, Dau Go cave, is the biggest and finest cave that attracts a huge number of tourists each year. It is even said that your journey cannot be complete without passing by this famous cave. Dau Go Cave is 27 meters above sea level and visitors must climb 90 rocky steps to reach the mouth of the cave. It has three large chambers, each containing imposing displays of stalactites and stalagmites and historic graffiti dating back to the excursions of the French. Due to the large open entrance, the cave has a humid atmosphere. In the cave’s third chamber there is a large freshwater lake.

Horseshoe crab: Horseshoe crab has fragrant meat, moderate sweetness and chewiness, is a familiar dish at most delicious restaurants in Ha Long. The meat of Sam may be used to make many different dishes, such as crab salad, pudding crab, crab sauté with lemongrass and peppers, sweet and sour crab legs, fried crab, steamed crabs, fried eggs and crab, stir-fried crab and glass noodle, and so forth.
