We are a big group from USA, the trip on the cruise was lovely for us. We didn’t join much outdoor activities but indoor were awesome. We love manager  and his staff for their service and they were so friendly too.

We had an amazing stay on the Athena Cruise. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and always on hand to help. There was great cocktails and services at the bar. The food was great and the activities very well organised. On day 2 we explored further into the bay and went to a very quiet beach far away from other tourists. We also got lucky with the weather and saw a beautiful sunset from the boat.

We went on a 2-day cruise in Halong Bay. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and it was fairly cool, even cold. That didn’t dampen our cruise manager’s spirits in any way. The beds are very comfortable and we slept like logs. The food, of course, was fantastic.

This cruise ship is almost brand new with luxury fittings.. I was amazed at the smart bathrooms.. and that it’s an environmentally conscious plastic free ship ❤️ The itinerary was well thought of, we saw a lot and we did a lot.. Bai Tu Lang Bay has unspoiled beauty and it was nice that the bay was not crowded.. The other members of staff were equally pleasant and helpful..

It was an awesome experience to be this cruise and the staff on board was extremely friendly, very polite , totally whacky yet very organised. we were little apprehensive of food but they served us the best vegetarian meals we could think off . They made sure we were comfortable and felt at home . Thank you guys for this mind blowing experience. Would love to be back .

We did the 2 nights 3 days cruise over Christmas, we dont have a bad thing to say about this cruise, very well organised and your always looked after, the food was delicious and fresh every single morning and night. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. The rooms were perfect and very comfy and spacious for a cruise. we didn't know what to expect but i wouldnt' used anyone else when doing a cruise in Ha long Bay.

We have only positive things to say about our experience. All of the staff, especially manager Tim, were very accommodating to us. As four family members travelling, the rooms were more than comfortable for us. We had connecting rooms with small private balcony, pristine linens, fridge, and firm but soft enough bed. The bathroom was spacious and perfectly functioning, which is a notable if you've traveled in certain parts of SE Asia. The activities were well organized and optional. Our day trip to a small beach and the cruise to and from was a feast of beauty for your eyes and your soul. Our experience was ultra peaceful and a small group of 12 total people left a lot of free space on the day boat, which included a delicious course of fresh local food from land and sea. Overall, meals were well organized with a variety of fresh local food and some western/international leaning foods. I don't see how anyone could go hungry on a cruise like this. The top deck was making good cocktails with bogo for happy hour. What a bargain! We felt the value for our rooms, activities, food, etc was very high. We recommend this trip to people of all ages and would take it again ourselves.

This was the last leg of our recent Vietnam trip. Our upgraded cabin was gorgeous and very well equipped! Boat is just gorgeous, food amazing (just informed them beforehand of our dietary requirements) and the dining room is set out with all the different flags to accommodate everyone's nationality. A nice touch. We had cookery classes on the upper deck which also has a large hot tub and bar! The organised trips were really good and overall this was a fantastic 2 days. You were all terrific and keep up the good work!

The room was luxurious and just wow although it’s not spacious. The team pampered us with generous potion of food (we thought our stomach would burst at some point) and great service. They made sure to bring extra towels, bottles of water, and umbrellas so we won’t have to carry anything but ourselves. The scenery of cave and window was just amazing. If you are wondering if you should book 2 days or 3 days, I would say just book for 2 nights / 3 days if you prefer to chill Thank you so much for looking after us!

The staff/crew was extremely friendly and considerate. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The itinerary was well-organized and clearly explained so we could choose which activities to enjoy or when we needed a rest. The meals were delicious. Our time on the Athena Royal Cruise was perfect.

The cruise was an excellent experience. Cabin was roomy with a little balcony and a sizable bathroom. Shower with gorgeous views of Halong Bay. The Royal Athena is probably the newest boat on Halong Bay Activities included floating village, day boat kayaking and beach, cooking class, cave visit and excellent meals. My favorite was morning Tai Chi on the sun deck. The boat manager and the staff was excellent. 1-night and 2-night schedules are cleverly intertwined and so we spend one half day on a "day boat" for different activities with some other people. It works very well and I highly recommend the two-night version.

Experience was mind blowing and out of this world. Usually food on cruise was average, But the food served on Athena Royal was exceptional. Personalised service all the way, from check in to end, it felt like a personal ship. Everything was well planned and attention to details. From the dining table, to rooms a location, to personalised breakfast, everything was well thought and organised.  Well done, Athena Royal!

We took Royal Athena cruises for spending the last leg of our vietnam trip. It was beautiful from the very minute. Our room was fantastic and extremely beautiful. The day trips were so relaxing and adventurous. The second day to Bai tu long was incredible. Special mention of the menu, the food served was incredible, we are vegetarian and the crew took care of us like family.

This was a wonderful 3 days, and we wish it was more. The food was very nice, and staff were super friendly and helpful. Be sure to take the day cruise around the islands, with kayaking and swimming. Simply awesome scenery. Sad to see the sun go down.

There are hundreds boats surround the area. We chose the cruise because of a recommendation from friends. It was the right option for our family. We found the different between cruise service and hotel. They work harder much more and stay with you for the whole time. The food was amazing. We ate a lot.

Wonderful trip in Ha Long Bay. Spacious room for a cruise ship, with small balcony to relax on. Rooms and ship were very clean. Meals were varied and delicious. Itinerary was a great mix of active and relaxing, and it was enjoyable just to hang out on the rooftop deck and enjoy the scenery. The staff was amazing - so friendly, they always remembered every dietary request, and everyone made it a point to engage with the guests. I highly recommend this company and cruise.
